By installing operable skylights on portions of existing skylights, the required ventilation area specified in the renovation project is ensured.
Requirement
To satisfy the ventilation requirements according to legal parameters, we propose installing an adequate number of electric openings. After determining the quantity and size of the necessary openings, we presented the Client with various options for installable skylights, offering different thermal transmission performance perspectives.
Ensuring the best cost-benefit ratio. Our evaluation between higher costs and better thermal performance has highlighted the equilibrium point between investment and reduction of building management costs (cooling and heating).
Entrusting a single supplier with all stages, from the initial survey to installation and testing.
Ensuring the presence of suitable contacts on the construction site for precise coordination, in terms of safety, between activities carried out on the roof and the daily operations of the company (conducted inside the building).
PRODUCT/SERVICE PROVIDED
Site inspection to assess the current state.
Our technicians (site technical manager and installer), accompanied by the client, gathered the necessary information to evaluate how the custom design of the components could impact the installation process while ensuring strict adherence to safety measures.
Executive design.
Our technical department designed 160 sqm of ventilated surface area distributed over 24 sections. The insertion of the new fixed skylights used existing support profiles to make site activities less invasive. Custom sheet metal details were used for integration. A fall prevention grid was installed at each opening, designed to remain fixed in the component.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
The installation was carried out in full coordination with the client. Work on the most critical areas of the roof (underlying production activities) was carried out on holidays.
